Overview

We are seeking a multifaceted QHSE Manager with a strong background in Welding Engineering and expertise in managing ASME/PED certifications and paperwork. This role is ideal for a versatile individual eager to lead QHSE efforts, oversee welding operations, and ensure compliance with ASME/PED standards in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

 

Role Description:
As a QHSE Manager, you will not only ensure the integrity of welding operations and lead QHSE
initiatives but also manage all aspects related to ASME/PED certifications, including the maintenance of
documentation and adherence to regulatory standards. This position requires a blend of technical welding
knowledge, QHSE leadership, and a thorough understanding of ASME/PED compliance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor QHSE processes to uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
  • Oversee welding operations, ensuring adherence to specifications and resolving technical challenges.
  • Oversee facilities improvement projects and maintenance schedules, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Manage ASME/PED certification processes, ensuring accurate documentation, compliance with standards, and timely renewal of certifications.
  • Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to address environmental health concerns
  • Lead and develop a team, ensuring alignment with the company's standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and enforce regulations related to waste management, air quality, and water quality.
  • Conduct internal audits, data analysis, and reporting to drive continuous improvement in QHSE and ASME/PED compliance.
  • Collaborate with management and external stakeholders on compliance matters and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Material Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in welding engineering, with a solid grasp of welding processes, software, tools, and codes.
  • Expert knowledge of ASME/PED regulations and certification processes, with a track record of managing compliance documentation and procedures.
  • Familiarity with US regulatory bodies (OSHA, DOT, EPA).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel or Google Sheets
